Hi, Lauren We're so excited to give you the spotlight! Can you tell us about your business and what you offer?

ACE GLASS is a full service glass company specializing in auto, residential and commercial glass. Whether you need a windshield for your car, a mirror , shower door or table top for your house, or a new storefront for your business- we can handle the glass!

Awesome! Why do you think your clients choose to work with your company specifically?

We are local, family owned and have been in business for over 62 years. My grandfather started ACE GLASS back in 1964. My brother and I are the 3rd generations to take over and hopefully our kids will join the business too . I think our customers associate Ace Glass with honesty, reliability, and hard work. We have certainly not been perfect over the last 60 years, but our commitment to the highest quality and standards sets us apart.

That's awesome! Tell us, what interested you in this industry and why did you pick glass installation as your career?

Well, I was born into the business so all I know is glass. :) I knew I needed to work so might as well work with my family! I take pride in my family's name and continuing as a family owned and operated business. I have learned all aspect of the business and have been fortunate enough to really "take the reins"', so the speak, over the past few years.

That's so amazing it's been a multi generational family business. What were the first steps in creating your business?

Oh, that's one for my late grandfather, Fred Sr. For me, the first steps were to just dive in and work side by side with my dad (Fred Jr) and learn everything I could about the glass business and business in general. From suppliers to industry trends, staffing and operations there's a lot that goes into starting and continue to run a successful business in a tough market.

What do you want your clients to leave with?

When you think of glass, think ACE GLASS. We are a one stop shop for all your glass needs. I think one area we have consistently brought value to our clients is in educating them on all the options out there today, mainly through getting to know them personally and their needs. You can tell we really care about our customers!

Love that! Okay, last question! If you could describe your brand in a quote, what quote would it be?

A stone's throw away. ACE GLASS has been installing glass in Columbia since 1939.
